A new turtle last night!

I was lucky to see her crawling from the surf with the moon behind her, which looked remarkably like the logo on the top left of this page. Our good friend Dean Bagley up at the University of Central Florida will be jealous to hear that I was lucky enough to see her crawl out of the surf just in front of me! It does seem to happen to us a lot. Twice this season already...

The turtle will be named Pamela after my mother. I think she will be pleased to know that a large deep diving leatherback turtle will be cruising the Atlantic Ocean bearing her name (and a few metal tags)
