It was a quiet night last night and an even quieter morning. No turtles were observed, but it was a very pleasant and rather chilly night to be on the beach.

Quiet Morning

The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and a great way to end the night. I spent the morning looking for the Comet C/2002 T7 (a.k.a. LINEAR) - It is a bit early to observe it, and I was unsuccessful. In the next few days and weeks we should be able to see it as it moves closer to the sun and rises above the horizon earlier in the morning.

It looks like someone was playing around with some seaweed up at the jupiter inlet last night! Check it out here: inlet camera - look carefully in all the images!
